Water Resources Specialist (MPP-LRT)

At the full performance level, incumbent:
Serves as the Regional Coordinator and contact for Reclamation Water Conservation Programs. Responsible for identifying general planning studies or water resources management needs related to water conservation, drought management, water resource management, and water recycling programs. Prepares and formulates assigned program budgets; responsible for quality, development, implementation, timeliness, and accomplishment of budget for assigned projects. Works with the Water Accounting and Verification Group to hold coordination meetings with stakeholders and discuss water conservation activities. Coordinates with technical and administrative specialists from a wide variety of public interest groups, the general public, and Federal, State, and local agencies. Reviews and evaluates water resource plans, programs, and agreements with contractors to verify compliance with contracts, policy, and laws. Prepares correspondence; establishes and maintains water resource files; maintains agreement status reports; and prepares other mandatory documents and reports. GS-09:
In order to qualify for the GS-09 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-07 grade level in Federal service; OR master's or equivalent graduate degree; OR 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.B. or J.D., if related. Specialized Experience for GS-09:
Experience in water resource management (e.g., water conservation and reuse, drought, or improved water efficiency) and budget formulation. GS-11:
In order to qualify for the GS-11 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-09 grade level in Federal service; OR A Ph.D. or equivalent doctoral degree; OR 3 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree; OR LL.M., if related. Specialized Experience for GS-11:
Experience in budget formulation, conducting and monitoring programs that relate to management of water and related resources (e.g., water conservation and reuse, drought, or improved water efficiency), OR experience administering or participating in multi-agency or multi-basin water supply studies and budget formulation. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly reflect the experience/education listed above. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
