Supervisory IT Specialist (MPP-MW)

Serves as Deputy to the Information Management Technology Office (IMTO) responsible for leading and directing information management technology services for the Region. In conjunction with the Chief, will lead organizational change to implement the Federal Information Technology Acquisition Reform Act (FITARA) including planning, organizing, directing and evaluating a broad range of Information Management and Technology services in support of Region programs and activities. Services include Information Technology (voice and data networks, data, operating systems, software, databases and IT Cybersecurity), Information Management (records management, print services, Privacy Act compliance and Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) compliance), IT portfolio management, project management, IMT governance and customer technology support.Working with the Information Management Technology (IMT) Office Chief develops the annual IMT Business Plan and operating budget for approval by the Regional Deputy Director.Serves as second level supervisor over IMT Office resources.Serves as backup Region representative to the Information Resources Management Council (IRMC) and a variety of Reclamation-wide teams and committees to develop and implement Reclamation IMT policy. Serves at the direction of the IMT Office Chief and Regional Information Resources Business Advisory Council (IRBAC) Member. To meet specialized experience, your resume must describe experience that demonstrates the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities as defined below:
To qualify for the GS-13 level, your resume must reflect one year of full time experience equivalent to the GS-12 grade level, specialized experience is defined as experience planning, organizing, directing or evaluating IT services such as systems analysis, applications software management, data management, IT Cybersecurity, operating systems, network services, systems administration, communications, internet architecture, customer help and assistance, etc.; providing technical IT advice, guidance, and recommendations on IT issues; or making decisions influencing IT policies or programs. In addition, individuals must have IT-related experience demonstrating EACH of the following four competencies:
1. Attention to Detail; 2. Customer Service; 3. Oral Communication; and 4. Problem Solving. Supervisory Competencies:

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
