Supply Technician (MPP-LRT)
Maintains and updates filing system for Government-owned property for the Lower Colorado Regional (LCR). Monitors vehicle reservation system and assures requests are accommodated. Assists with inputting vehicle log sheets in Financial and Business Management System (FBMS), and assists with the maintenance of the Interior-owned and General Service Administration (GSA) motor vehicle/heavy equipment fleet program which includes preventative maintenance. Designated as the Regional Uniform Coordinator and is responsible for uniform purchasing through a Reclamation approved uniform program. Assist in the review of the annual inventory management program for personal property held by employees at the Lower Colorado Region. Ensures that the accountable property records comply with Government requirements, and that the receiving, recording, moving, and disposal of Government property is performed in accordance with Government property regulations and policies. In order to qualify at the GS-06 grade level, your resume must reflect one year of specialized experience equivalent to at least the GS-05 level in the Federal service. Specialized Experience for GS-6:
Defined as experience applying procurement, supply principles and standard transportation regulations pertaining to property management and warehouse operations. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to paid employment.
