Substance Abuse Counselor 2

The Position
Prison Industries Supervisors manage, plan, organize and supervise operation(s) of Prison Industries program(s) and ensure their profitable operation.
Incumbents function as managers who train, supervise and evaluate the performance of subordinate supervisors; develop policies and procedures; and allocate staff and resources to accomplish goals and objectives.
Incumbent manages, plans, organizes and supervises operations of Prison Industries' auto shop. This position requires proficient skills and expertise in auto body/paint, electrical, mechanical, upholstery, metal fabrication/welding, and wood finishing. The incumbent will also have responsibility for repair estimation costs, troubleshooting, research, development and design and identifying auto parts/location.

To Qualify:
In order to be qualified, you must meet the following requirements:
Education and Experience (Minimum Qualifications) Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in business administration or closely related field and two years of supervisory experience in a business environment producing manufactured goods or providing services including setting production/work schedules, recordkeeping, and ensuring the availability of required materials, supplies, equipment and tools; OR graduation from high school or equivalent education and four years of experience as described above; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Special Requirements A State of Nevada/FBI background check will be required of the selected applicant. Additional Position Experience Experience supervising automotive operations is required.



Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
