Our Parks and Destinations group specializes in serving consumers; recreational and entertainment needs in national and state parks, zoos, aquariums, science centers, museums and other day-use cultural attractions.
The scope of our operations includes operating lodging, conference and meeting space, houseboats and other marine activities, retail merchandise shops, fine dining restaurants, and interpretive tours in some of this country's most pristine protected lands and national parks.

Position
Summary:
The primary responsibility of this position is to help oversee the cleanliness and safety of all vessels, crew and guests. This person will work with Captain, Cruise Manager, and Culinary team to ensure the highest level of customer service, safety and sanitation.
Essential Functions:
Maintains daily checklists of job duties
Cleans restrooms, empties trash cans, replenishes toiletry supplies and soap
Understands all drills, MOB, fire and abandon ship
Completes opening and closing side work
Oversees and maintains deck safety, safety of passengers and reports any unsafe conditions to captain and cruise manager
Assist captain with pumping of waste and water
Assist with start up and shut down of vessel
Welcome guests while boarding the boat and make sure to obtain accurate passenger counts
Project a positive and friendly attitude toward all customers and crew
Assist in set up for special events
Assist as necessary with food & beverage needs
Clean windows and vacuum vessel as needed
Status and Scope:
This position reports to the Captain and Cruise Manager. Must be able to work with diverse workforce and apply all policies and procedures to this position.
Qualifications:
Current Southern Nevada Health District Food Handler Safety Training Card or ability to obtain
This position is subject to pre-employment, random, and post-accident/reasonable suspicion drug testing compliant with Coast Guard regulations

Radio, Vessel Machinery, Pumping Equipment
Travel Requirements:
Little or No Travel (>10%)
Lifting Requirements:
HEAVY Lifting 100 pounds maximum with frequent lifting and/or carrying objects up to 50 pounds
